As part of the closing ceremony of TitanCon, which was also this year’s Eurocon, the annual European Science Fiction Society Awards were presented. Swedish fan and ESDS chair Carolina Gómez Lagerlöf managed to hand out a not small number of awards in just about 20 minutes, which must be a record of some kind.
Croatia won two awards this time: Dalen Belić got the Chrysalis Award, which is an ESFS encouragement award for people just starting out on their careers and my friend Petra Bulić won for Best Promotor. It was an awesome ending to two fandom weeks.
